Dr. Darlington Nnabugo Ofor (Ph.D, FInstTA, FIMPA (UK), LCIMPTMP (USA)) is a Nigerian entrepreneur, maritime logistics expert, and public policy advocate whose work sits at the intersection of enterprise, governance, and community transformation. Born on 10th December 1973 in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, he was raised in a household where discipline, integrity, and communal responsibility were fundamental values.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, a Master of Business Administration from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Logistics and Transport Management from the University of Port Harcourt. His doctoral research focused on strategies for optimising third-party logistics and improving transportation efficiency in Nigeria.
With over two decades of experience across marine logistics, oil and gas, insurance, and finance, Dr. Ofor serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Orava Nigeria Limited, an indigenous company he has built into a respected player within Nigeria’s maritime logistics and oil and gas value chain. His leadership reflects a strong belief that efficiency, accountability, and strategic thinking are essential for both business growth and effective service delivery.
In 2018, he founded the Noble Goal Foundation, extending his impact beyond enterprise into community development. Through the Foundation, he leads initiatives that provide free healthcare services, deliver ICT and digital skills training for young people, and support vulnerable populations in underserved communities.
